Oromocto, NB is pleased to announce that we are offering a great opportunity for interested Project Managers to be employed within the Courseware Development Team at the Combat Training Centre (CTC) CFB Gagetown. | | ASSOCIATED TASKS | The PM will work in partnership with the various Training Establishments (TE) and will provide leadership and direction on up to four major courseware development projects and several minor projects simultaneously. The PMs will also carry out requirement analysis, planning, content acquisition, design, development, implementation and monitoring of courseware development projects using the current team of Instructional Designers, Valcom Subject Matter Experts, Developers and other resources including interns from the Applied Arts Internship Program. In addition, the PMs will also ensure roll-out of courseware development projects within agreed upon timelines and adhere to the methodology and project management guidelines to ensure compliancy to quality standards set by the Head of the Courseware Development Section.. Additional tasks and sub-tasks include: - Providing input into the planning and coordination of section projects.
- Conducting analysis of priorities and objectives while taking client needs and section/branch/TE policies into account.
- Effectively utilizing resources and development teams.
- Working collaboratively with client and consulting with them regularly to address courseware development risks.
- Being a part of the management team/committee and providing expert advise to management for issues related to courseware development.
- Delivering briefings and presentations to management for development-related innovation and strategic direction.
- In conjunction with the Officer Commanding Army Learning Support Centre (ALSC), Courseware Development Officer, the PMs will represent Courseware Development Program.
- They will also establish networks with colleagues and professional in other government departments and agencies.
| | MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS | - Have successfully managed teams of at least 8 FTEs on one or more occasions
- Have successfully managed at least 4 courseware development related projects of 3 months or more with a team of 6 or more FTEs (2500 hours of effort per project)
- Managed 2 or more courseware development related projects of 3 months or longer with 4 or more FTEs simultaneously
Written at least 4 formal performance reviews for direct reports over 2 or more performance cycles. | EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/ REFERENCES | - Diploma or degree in business or computer science or education or PM equal PM Training Certification.
- Provide 3 references from their current or former employer
